Participate in research

Picture
Did you know that some of your professors conduct research at NSC? We ask psychological questions and try to find the answers using surveys and experiments. You can be a part of that research by serving as a participant. Here's what you should know about participating in psychology research:

  • Your information will always be anonymous and/or confidential: no one will be able to connect your name to your responses to any of our questions.
  • You will receive compensation for some of the studies. Generally compensation can be things like: cash payment, NSC gear, gift cards, and raffle tickets to win big prizes like an iPad.
  • Any contact information you provide is only used to inform you of study information and schedule times for you to participate.
  • If you agree to participate in research you are volunteering, and have the option to discontinue at any time or ask to have your results removed from the study.
  • Participating in research can be a lot of fun and lets you know how all those studies you read about in your classes are done!

If you would like to participate in a research study fill out this five minute survey and we will contact you about upcoming studies!
