FREE ON-CAMPUS COUNSELING SERVICES:
NSC has contracted with All About You Counseling to provide free, short-term therapy to NSC students on campus. Renee Rancifer - Wednesday’s 11:30am - 7:30pm Kimberly Smith - Thursday’s 9:00am - 5:00pm Dawson Building - 104B To schedule an appointment, please contact AAU’s Service Coordinator, Gabby, directly at 702-754-0807. (Please inform Gabby that you are an NSC student). Since the clinicians are only here two days per week, we want to maximize their reach by utilizing a short-term therapy model focusing on stabilization, symptom reduction, and skills building. We are also hoping to integrate the services of our NSC case manager, Ms. Kristie Collins, to provide assistance in accessing necessary community and campus resources and to ensure a seamless transition after therapy services have been provided. |
OTHER OFF-CAMPUS COUNSELING SERVICES:
Students who have private medical insurance (or Medicaid) may prefer to access services through their insurance provider list.
We can review a student’s provider list to see if we can recommend any clinicians. Please contact our Dean of Students, Dr. Richard Yao, at 702-992-2632 or richard.yao@nsc.edu.
If students are seeking therapy services for family members, they can also utilize their private insurance provider list if applicable. However, if they do not have insurance, there are sliding scale agencies that can provide services.
