The mission of Psi Chi (pronounced sigh-kai) is to produce a well-educated, ethical, and socially responsible member committed to contributing to the science and profession of psychology and to society in general (www.psichi.org).
NSC established the Nevada State Society for Psychology (NSSP) in the Fall of 2013 as the first step to establish NSC's Psi Chi chapter with Diana Marmino as President and Dr. Laura Naumann as Faculty Advisor. In the Spring of 2015 NSC was approved as Psi Chi Chapter #1170. The first members are students who have a GPA in the top 35% of NSC students (3.50 or higher) and who are majoring or minoring in Psychology. We congratulate them on this great achievement!
